Non Sequiturs Abound

I've always been a fan of ESPN's "This is Sportscenter" commercials, some of which have been brilliantly funny (Lance Armstrong powering the building by riding a bicycle, for instance). Well, here's a new one, featuring legendary Tennessee Women's Basketball coach Pat Summit (who is approaching her 1000th win and has yet to lose her 200th game - take that, Bobby Knight):



Also, I was saddened by yesterday's news that Ricardo Montalban died at age 88. While most people who've heard of him know him as Mr. Roark from Fantasy Island, I and other Sci-Fi fans will never forget his performance as Khan in the "Space Seed" episode of the original Star Trek, as well as Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Especially memorable was this exclamation of "KHAAAAAN!" by Bill Shatner as Admiral Kirk. I even note that the page has been updated to include a memorial for Ricardo.
