In the meantime, stop and reflect that the most powerful office in the land will be handed over to member of an opposing party with only the recitation of an oath to mark the event. In most other countries, such a transfer of power would be called a coup d'etat, and would be heralded with more than just words. Regardless of your political persuasion, you've got to find that remarkable.
